During this step you will navigate your browser to a web page where you can purchase these 2 programs using a credit card or debit card. You will soon receive several e-mails to confirm your purchase. One e-mail will contain your license key for Registry Cleaner. Another e-mail will contain your license key for SpywareDetector. Sometimes there is a short delay before you receive your product keys (up to half an hour).
Install and run
You will also receive a download link for each product. Go ahead and download the programs while you are waiting for your product keys to arrive. Now install each program one at a time buy double-clicking the setup file. During setup you will be asked to enter the product key. First open SpywareDetector and perform a Quick Scan. How long this takes will depend on the condition of your computer. On a healthy machine it will complete in 5 - 10 minutes. If threats are found just follow the on screen instructions. It may be necessary to restart the computer.
Leave SpywareDetector open and open up Max Registry Cleaner. Choose to run a Registry Backup. Then perform a Full Scan of the Windows registry. While it is working away minimise the Registry Cleaner window so that it drops down to the Windows task bar at the base of the screen.
Bring up the SpywareDetector window again and choose to check for updates ("Live Update"). For this you need to be connected to the Internet. It can take several minutes (or more if your computer is in a bad state of repair) to complete the live update. When complete you should kick off a Full Scan with all boxes ticked for Rootkit, Virus and Deep.
